David Inghams of Albion Archaeology will be talking to us about the exciting Roman finds, including only the second ever proven crucifixion, at a site near Peterborough.

Sunday September 21st - Discovering the Rutland Roman Villa

During Covid an amazing discovery was made 'somewhere beneath a field in Rutland...' .  Jim Irvine, the very man who found what turned out to be a Roman villa site, is coming to us all about it.

Sunday June 8th -
Saxons in the Nene  Valley

Professor Upex will join us again, this time to talk about the Saxons who settled in this area.  As part of his talk he will focus on the field central to our village and the site of the Saxon burial ground along the Fotheringhay Road.

April 2025 sees the launch of the Nassington Blue Plaque Route.  Enjoy a stroll through the centuries with a detailed guide to the houses and the histories along the way.  Either go to the website or buy a colour guide from Nassington Stores, The Queens Head, L D Hair Design, J. RG. and S. Mould or Elsie's Vintage Tea Room.
